WESTERN CAPE – The endeavours of the Tactical Task Team to disarm criminals in this province were rewarded with the arrest of a suspect yesterday. Deployed in the Khayelitsha area for a crime combatting operation, the members reacted on a tipoff and searched a residence in Town Two where a 59-year-old man was arrested for being in possession of a .38 special revolver and ammunition without a license.
Once charged, the suspect is expected to make a court appearance in Khayelitsha.
