WHITTLESEA – In recognition of Mandela Day, the South African Police Service, together with different stakeholders visited a needy family today, 18th July 2021 in Whittlesea.
SAPS Men for Change, together with Community Policing Forum (CPF) and NOMAXABISO Friendly Victim Support Centre decided to visit the house of 88 year old wheelchair-bound woman after her homestead was identified as a needy family by Vispol members and took initiative to assist the family fixing windows and cleaning the house.
Provincial Chairperson for Men For Change, Colonel Sivuyile Nqaphi who also witnessed the day, thanked all the stakeholders for working together on changing lives. He further appreciated assistance by members of the community who spent time assisting on the activities.
