GQEBERHA – On 04 August 2021 at about 09:40, three (3) unknown males entered a clinic in Qunta Street in New Brighton and robbed the staff and patients of their cash and cellphones.
It is alleged that the security guard, staff and patients inside the clinic were pointed with a firearm and robbed while patients that were queuing outside were also robbed. The suspect inside then took one cellphone of a staff member and some cash. The suspects then fled the scene. No persons were injured during the robbery
A case of business robbery is under investigation.
