KWAZULU-NATAL – Police in KwaMashu are looking for relatives or next of kin of Khulekani Mkhize believed to be in his forties. It is alleged that on 19 October 2017, Mkhize was at the platform in KwaMashu Railway station when he was entangled and dragged by a train, he subsequently sustained severe injuries to the head and body.

He was taken to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. An inquest docket was opened for investigation in KwaMashu police station. Efforts that have been conducted to find his family have since proven to be fruitless.
