Premier Mokgoro and MEC Tlhapi to launch the Art Fair ahead of Youth Day Commemoration
North West Premier, Prof. Tebogo Job Mokgoro will together with MEC for Arts, Culture, Sports and Recreation Virginia Tlhapi, launch the five day – Art Fair which will be hosted in partnership with Boga Legaba Guest Lodge to show case art collection and enhance skills development of 10 young visual artists. The launch will be tomorrow Wednesday, 16 June 2021.
This is part of the joint programme in commemorating Youth Month under the theme- The Year of Charlotte Maxeke: Growing youth employment for an inclusive and transformed society”.
The Provincial Youth Day will be held at Tshidi Barolong Secondary School in Mahikeng and Premier Mokgoro will render the keynote address.
The Premier had identified service delivery challenges such as filthy surroundings and the worn out walls at the school, and had committed to tackle them. During the commemoration the Premier and Members of the Executive Council will form part of the Letsema and will paint and clean the school premises.
