Police seek missing person

GQEBERHA – SAPS Bethesldorp detectives is seeking the communities’ assistance in tracing a 38-year-old woman who was reported missing on 4 June 2021.

According to police information, on Wednesday 2021-06-02 at about 06:30, Babalwa Elizabeth Makwabe (Stuurman) was ready for work as she works in William Moffett Road. Her mother alleged that Mrs Makwabe was waiting at the gate in front of their house in Pleasant Street in Ext 32 in Bethelsdorp for her transport that she uses every day. As usual her transport arrived and left without her as she was not at the gate at that time.

The driver assumed that she may have already left to work using another mode of transport. At about 20:00 that evening, she had failed to return home and her family started making enquiries. It was also established that she was not at work on the day.  She was last seen wearing the uniform of her store, a black Food Lovers Market T-shirt, black pants, black and white takkies. She has an L-shaped gold filling on her upper front teeth.

Anyone who may have seen her or may know of her whereabouts is asked to contact D/Sgt Nwabisa Diko on 071 475 1955 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.
