Police hunt killers of five men found in Willowvale plantation

WILLOWVALE: On Wednesday morning 14 July 2021, the police found five bodies of unknown men at Willowvale Plantation, Bhulwini Forest.

Reports suggest that at about 07:30 on 14 July 2021 the employees of Willowvale Plantation Forest were arriving at work to perform their duties when they saw five unknown African males already dead, badly assaulted with bruises and wounds on the upper bodies.

Police were alerted to the incident and on arrival they found the bodies piled up on top of each and with blood on their faces. Four of the deceased’s hands were tied with rope behind their backs. No weapons were found at the scene. The deceased were later identified by their families and five counts of murder cases were opened for investigation. The motive for the killings is unknown at this stage, but police investigation continues.
