WESTERN CAPE – To ensure that criminals get their day in court, operational forces will continue with their mandate to root out the illegal trade of drugs in this province.
Due to the perseverance of members, a suspect was surprised today when police surrounded premises in Fairfield Close in Dennemere. Upon searching the premises, a total of eight plastic bags containing mandrax tablets worth an estimated street value of R240 000 were confiscated. A 40-year-old female was arrested and detained. Once charged she is expected to appear in the Blue Downs Magistrate’s Court on a charge of illegal possession of drugs.
