Mtontsasa police arrested a 25-year-old suspect for murder after a shooting incident occurred at Mcobotini locality, Lusikisiki at about 01:00 today, Friday, 03 September 2021.
It is alleged that the deceased and his friends were having a seat in, drinking liquor at his girlfriend’s place in Mcobotini locality, Mtontsasa area , when an argument ensued. It is alleged that deceased was stabbed by the suspect and also the knife with blood was found in the possession of the suspect it is alleged.
The circumstances surrounding the incident forms part of the investigation. Investigation continues.
The 25-year-old suspect is due to appear in the Mtontsasa Magistrate’s Court on Monday 06th September 2021 on charges of murder.
