One behind bars as police confiscates drugs

FREE STATE- A 39 year-old suspect is in police custody following his arrest during an intelligence driven operation at Moroka in Selosesha.

On Thursday, 29 July 2021, at about 11:15, Selosesha Flying Squad members embarked on an intelligence driven operation around Moroka in Selosesha and proceeded to the identified address where a 39-year-old man was found in the house. Upon searching the house, a total of 106 mandrax tablets valued at about R 6 360, 00 were found hidden inside a child’s pram as well as an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was apprehended for dealing in drugs and is expected to appear before Thaba Nchu Magistrates’ Court soon.

Police encourages community members to continue working together with the police to ensure that drugs are removed from the streets.
