NORTHERN CAPE – The officers in the ZF Mgcawu District led by example this morning, 29 July 2021 when the vaccination roll-out process commenced at Upington SAPS. The Acting District Commissioner, Brigadier Johnny Besnaar was first to receive his jab followed by other officers in the district.
Determined members from stations and units queued since early in this morning, excited and relieved that the day they’ve been waiting for has finally arrived in order for them to take their jab.
The process continues until tomorrow, 30 July 2021 and Brigadier Besnaar said “members are still expected to come in numbers, to do the right thing by getting vaccinated” .
