DURBAN: Yesterday, 9 August 2021 at 22:30, an operation was conducted by the police officers from the Provincial Drug and Firearm Unit which led to the successful arrest of a suspect.
The police officers received information about a man who was dealing in drugs within the neighbourhood of Point in Durban. The team proceeded to Keeler Place, where they found a 45-year-old suspect in possession of 96 plastic wrappings of heroin and 176 pieces of rock cocaine. He was immediately arrested. The total value of the drugs is estimated to be R20 000,00. The suspect is appearing in Durban Magistrates’ Court today for being in possession of drugs.
