FREE STATE – On the 03 July 2021 at about 20:00, members of the Welkom Flying Squad, Warrant Officers David Mlangeni and Corrie Spies received information about a man in possession of drugs walking at Mannys Welkom.
The members acted swiftly and identified the suspect. They approached him and requested to search him. Whilst busy with the search, 105 Mandrax tablets and 19,5 grams of Chrystal Meth with the street value of R 14 400-00 were found hidden between bread slices.
A 44-year-Mold man was arrested for possession of drugs. He will appear at Welkom Magistrate Court on the 05 July 2021.
