SARAH BAARTMAN – Police arrested a woman for allegedly killing her boyfriend following a heated argument in Joubertina last night, 24 July 2021.
On Saturday, 24 July 2021 at about 21:30, it is alleged that the woman and her boyfriend were involved in an argument outside the house in Rondomskrik, Louterwater (Joubertina). It is said that the boyfriend slapped her on the face, and she retaliated by stabbing him with a knife once in the upper body. The 42-year-old boyfriend died at the scene, and his name is being withheld until his family is notified.
A 38-year-old woman was arrested, and is due to appear in Joubertina Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 26 July 2021 on a charge of murder.
