TSHILWAVHUSIKU – The South African Police Service in Tshilwavhusiku have launched a massive search operation for a 75-year-old woman, Mamafa Francinah Mosehla who went missing on Monday, 21 June 2021.

The elderly woman is reportedly mentally challenged and it is reported that she went missing in the morning at about 08:00 while collecting firewood in the bushes with her elder sister in Ravele Village.

Her sister alleges that when they returned home, the elderly woman was walking behind her when she decided to fasten her shoe laces.

Subsequently, when she checked on her, the elderly woman was nowhere to be found. A few minutes later, she got a call that the elderly woman is already at home.

However, when she arrived at home, her neighbour told her that the elderly woman went to the dumping site. A search operation was conducted by the Police and members of the community members at the surrounding bushes and relatives with no success.

At the time of her disappearance, she was last seen wearing a red jersey, blue skirt and a floral blouse.
