BCM District Coastal: The Provincial Head of Crime Prevention Brigadier Malibongwe Ntsabo motivated the members of K9 and Flying Squad Unit before he leaves the South African Police Service.
The mini function took place at the East London K9 Unit on Tuesday, 17 August 2021 where he issued certificates to the members from different K9 and Flying Squad Units from Mdantsane, Queenstown, East London, and King William’s Town.
Brigadier Mxolisi Mqotyana from the BCM District, Col Moodley from the Provincial Emergency Services, Lt Col Yose from East London K9 and the K9 and Flying Squad Commanders honoured the event. In his welcoming speech Brigadier Mqotyana thanked the Provincial Head of Crime Prevention for always availing himself and be able to assist all the time.
The purpose of the event was to motivate the members on the work they are performing on the ground. He also mentioned that “to be a good police officer you need to be dedicated to your work and be disciplined. If the members didn’t learn whileI was operating they’ve missed something”. He thanked all the members that are working at K9 and Flying Squad Units not forgetting their response time when they are attending to the complaints.
The event was a success and the members were happy to be noticeable. Col Moodley thank everyone that attended the event.
