The City’s Water and Sanitation Department is currently attending to multiple pipe bursts in the vicinity of Land-en-Zeezicht and surrounding areas in Somerset West. Read more below:
Most of the pipe bursts occurred during the early hours of this morning, resulting in the disruption of the water supply to the residents in those areas.
The technical team is investigating whether a faulty control valve caused this incident, and are doing everything possible to restore the water supply.
The City sincerely regrets any inconvenience caused.
