MADEIRA – A 39-year-old male is in police custody following the death of his 36-year-old girlfriend.
It is alleged that on Wednesday, 4 August 2021 at about 19:50, police attended to a complaint of a dead woman at a house in Luwaca Street, North Crest Mthatha. It was established that the woman sustained bruises to her body.
The deceased boyfriend who was present, was arrested and detained for her alleged murder.
A case of murder was opened and investigations are continuing.
