The Police in Bela Bela led by operational commander Captain Mangana in collaboration with Department of Health, Community Policing Forum, patrollers and Victim Empowerment personnel had yesterday conducted crime awareness campaign in Bela Bela Township Extension 08 and 09.
The aim of the campaign was to urge the community to adhere to Disaster Management Regulations, to encourage vaccination and to share crime safety tips.
The community were warned to desist from taking law into their own hands and buying looted or stolen goods.
Lastly, they were urged to report any kind of crime to the police.
