Amathole District vaccination rollout concluded

EASTERN CAPE – About 544 SAPS members got vaccinated during the vaccination rollout that lasted for 3 days. The site opened on Monday, 26 July 2021 and concluded with vaccinations on Wednesday, 28 July 2021 at Msobomvu SAPS site.

The Amathole Acting District Commissioner, Brigadier Ngangema Xakavu officially closed the site. He said it is encouraging to see SAPS members eagerly heeding the President’s call to vaccinate. He thanked the Committee led by Brigadier Siyoyo for a sterling job they did in ensuring the vaccination rollout is successful. Brigadier Xakavu said Brigadier Siyoyo has led the committee as a true leader and he further thanked him for steering the rollout successfully.

Brigadier Xakavu also interacted with the health professionals who were vaccinating the members during this period. He expressed his gratitude for the services they rendered. Brigadier Xakavu concluded the day by taking his jab.
