WESTERN CAPE – In their pursuit to bring offenders of the law before court, members of the National Intervention Unit conducted a search warrant at a residential property in Sayed Abdul Mutaliep Crescent in Westridge yesterday afternoon.
This operation led to the discovery of 35 cannabis plants, cannabis products and equipment used to cultivate cannabis valued at around R80 000-00, and the subsequent arrest of a 44-year-old man. Once charged, the suspect is scheduled to make a court appearance in Mitchells Plain on a charge of dealing in drugs.
