Minister Kubayi tables her inaugural Human Settlements Budget Vote
The Minister of Human Settlements, Mmamoloko Kubayi will on Tuesday table her maiden Budget Vote in this portfolio. This Budget Vote comes at a time when there is rising demand for reform on housing delivery and even more heighten attention on the portfolio following the flood disasters in KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape.
The Budget Vote will articulate the Department’s vision and strategic focal points for the 2022/23 financial year. The vote will also expand towards improving lives of the poor and restoring dignity through the provision of sustainable human settlements, initiatives on advancing transformation and skills development in the sector.
