Deputy Minister Nzuza to bring relief to Western Cape fire disaster communities
The Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Njabulo Nzuza will on Tuesday, 31 January 2023 visit the Western Cape to assess the services delivered by departmental officials in government’s quest to assist victims of fire disasters in the Cape Metro.
The Deputy Minister will visit affected areas including Khayelitsha, Phola Park (Philippi) as well as Masiphumelele where the Department of Home Affairs will deploy mobile units to the affected areas. A provision has been made for the waiving of fees for enabling documents.
