KOMANI – Zine Joy Gxulu (35) and Phumeza (38) were found guilty and sentenced to 18 years imprisonment by Komani Magistrate Court
During 2019 a victim lost her cellphone while she was traveling in a taxi. A few days later the victim went to draw a bank statement and that is when she discovered fraudulent transactions done in her bank account.
A case of Fraud was opened and assigned to Warrant Officer Marriette Olivier. During April 2021 two suspects were arrested in Western Cape.
Both pleaded guilty for fraud and were sentenced to 18 years imprisonment
